WEEKLY UPDATES! 11-06-2016

WEEKLY UPDATE!

Upload consistency was broken this week, but that doesn't theres no progress...XD

* A new kind of content that I'll be uploading more often on the channel was published this week.

I'll be doing more Animation Timelapse in the future so make sure to SUBSCRIBE!

* Also, I failed to create another video because procrastination(playing WarFrame..hehe), baby sitting and the Channel Frederator Network is alive again!

It turns out that the months of seemingly having a hiatus from the Network was actually caused by a amerge between the Frederator Network and Rainmaker entertainment. Now that they're back they actually have a lot in store for us partners and also the postponed Pokemon Collab was finally resumed. I took another part on it by taking on another Pokemon. I already did Meowth and now I'm going to animate Persian.

But unlike Meowth, I won't be doing it in 3D. Because the deadline is really close and I don't really want to put too much time on it since because of it I have to delay the 9 animation....again. hehe. ANYWAYS! I experimented on 2D animation within Blender and the results are very satisfying. Just check out the video below. XD

NEXT WEEK!

* I am gonna finish the Persian animation and also try to create the TutLapse video on how I did it.

* After that, I will be finishing the 9 animation. It PROBABLY won't be a Halloween special anymore....probably. XD Just keep an eye out for it because I'm really gonna put some time working on it and make it a production quality animation...Hehe (gulp)

Finally! Construction is done at home! It did disable me from finishing up the 9 animation though, but I still managed to upload videos,

* The final part of the Gregor in Blender TutLapse series was published last week.

A late update but consistency on uploads is still intact. :)

* Despite the dusty, noisy construction happening at home, I still managed to finish a video on how I gave a hair on the Gregor model that I started last year! Here's PART 6 of the Gregor TutLapse series:

* Not really sure what the plan is this week... Construction at home is coming to an end and I guess I'm just waiting for it to be over so I can finally animate in peace for the 9 animation.

WEEKLY UPDATE! 10-17-2016

WEEKLY UPDATE!

Things are looking up! Another week of consistency and already I can see some results: Subs, Views and Watch time is increasing! Also the revenue! If I keep at it I might just reach the 1000 sub milestone! But yeah! Here are last week's progress:

* Published the first of another kind of content that I'll be doing more often on the 2nd channel: a GIMP tutorial video.


* And another Blender How To video also published last week covering how I render my animations in Blender!


* I also finished giving Gregor a hair, which marks my final work on the model. I plan to give Gregor's concept a fix, which means I'll be remodeling him. I'm not satisfied with how the model looks right now so instead of just fixing it up, I decided to do the whole thing again. Would be a lot easier and it would really give me great comfort later on when I'm animating him.

THIS WEEK

* Just watch out for more Blender HOW TOs and TutLapse videos coming this week. One of the TutLapse you might see this week is Gregor's HAIR STYLING TutLapse and also a Texture Mapping TutLapse. I'm also planning to create tutorials on how to use Render Layers in Blender. SO stay tuned for that! Or Subscribe to my 2nd Channel to know when it's up!

* I also plan to really get started on the 9 animation already. The construction at home had made it difficult for me to muster enough concentration to focus on making the storyboard for the animation. Plus I have to take care of my 3-year-old sister. So it's kinda tough "getting in the zone". But I'll try to get the animation started this week. Also, I'll be making daily progress reports on my Patreon from now on. I will be introducing my Patreon page properly before the year ends or early next year. :)

WEEKLY UPDATE!

A late update here. I was not home yesterday. ANYWAYS!

Not much progress last week.

The construction at home made it really difficult to make videos. Besides taking care of my baby sister, I also have to endure the noise and have to keep an eye on the workers. But despite that, I did manage to upload on schedule. :)

* Another BLENDER HOW TO video uploaded last week where I share a bit of my knowledge on Rigging.



* And the FINAL PART of the 9 TutLapse is also published last week.



* I did not make much progress on the animation. It's really difficult to focus when you know you have to do other things and there's so much noise. So I just did a quick test through creating a Blender Art. I'm trying to achieve the volumetric effect in Blender using only the Internal renderer. The result is this:

I'll be making a tutorial on this. :)

THIS WEEK!

* I'll try to get started on animating the 9 animation. And If I can't do that, I'll create more tutorials and timelapse videos. The 2nd channel videos are easier to do than the main channel ones.

My workflow is starting to stabilize a bit. Still need to fix A LOT of stuff, but here are the updates for this week:

Almost missed an upload day! But still a progressive week.

* Finished another ART TRADE with Kaamuz, a fellow Channel Fredrator Network member.

WEEKLY UPDATE!

LOTS OF PROGRESS this week!

* The first BLENDER HOW TO video is published this week and this is actually something that I'll be doing to support the TutLapse videos. Just quick tutorials on stuff that are often overlooked in Blender or stuff that needed clarifying from a TutLapse.



* Also! Another Fan Mode Video is up! It's actually part of a collaboration video that I did with some of the Channel Frederator Network members.

* And I've done an ART TRADE with van chatto,  a fellow network member. ART TRADE is basically a trade of arts! In our case, we give each other reference to our own original characters and we draw or do something with it in our own artistic style.

And I also created a GIMP Speed Art video showing a timelapse of my coloring process of my version of Fuschia Sparks in GIMP:

Keeping up the progress this week.

* The Pokeball TutLapse series finishes with PART 2 which was uploaded last Wednesday.

* PLUS! I shared My Ultimate Gear through a Vlog. I'll be doing this thing every year to keep track of my technological journey. I do hope I'd be able to upgrade by next year. hehe.

* I also finished the final collaboration animation video which involved Meowth and Doodly! I encountered some technical hiccups along the way but it will be published NEXT WEEK, Saturday, PHT, on the MAIN CHANNEL.

* I'll start working on the 9 animation.

* And I'll be creating another GIMP Speedart for an ART TRADE that I did with a fellow CFN member. You'll know more about it next week or you can LIKE and follow my Facebook Page to know within the week. I update there more often. :)

So far so good. I'm keeping the content upload consistent on the 2nd channel. But still working on the main one. :)

* The Meowth TutLapse series is now complete as the final part was published this week.

* Plus! Another Tutlapse video started with the Pokeball Tutlapse PART 1 which was published this week as well.

* I also started animating another short animation for the FINAL big collab that I'll be joining.

I will finish the short animation for the collab, then after that the 9 animation, then finally I can get started with The Underland Project. Oh yeah. :3

Failed to update last week, so this here is a 2 week worth of update. XD

* Finished Modeling, Texture Mapping and Rigging Meowth.

* Finished animating him too! Which also means I'm done with my part on the Channel Frederator Pokemon Collab video. (Still not up yet)

* I will be giving away the Meowth model for free by next week so just stay tuned!

* I'll also be resuming The Underland Project next week.

* I resumed working on my part on Channel Frederator's Pokemon Collab video!

Finished Modeling...

...and Texture Mapping the Pokemon assigned to me, which is none other than Meowth himself. XD

Next week's plan is to finish giving him a proper rig and also start animating a short action for him.

WEEKLY UPDATE!

This week's progress is NOTHING! Nothing involving Doodle Notes... hehe.

BECAUSE!

Had to edit a video for my mom. Can't turn it down because ma will kill me if I did. XD

Just a presentation video for their school. (My mom's the principal)

It turned out nice and won a championship for their school too. So I got plus points from my mom(helpful on convincing her that I  have a shot on my career choice. XD) and also I got paid for it so got some cash to buy some stuff(a new multimedia keyboard and VGA).

Worked on it, bit by bit, within the week so no time to start on Doodle Notes projects. I also don't want to start with the projects while doing the video because that would be just torture. O.O

BUT YEAH! My mom's video is done so next week, I'll be resuming on the projects!

* My plan is to finish my part on the collab video with Channel Frederator first.

* Then resume The Underland Project.

* I also plan to upload Vlogs to inform you guys about some really important stuff in video form(Or tell those who only follow Doodle Notes on YouTube whats up). But there will be a blog form too with the video embedded on it. hehe.

* Created LOGOS for the different segments that Doodle Notes MAIN CHANNEL will bring forth. 

* Finished fixing up the blog.

Still need to fix a lot of stuff before restarting all the projects...

* Need to fix both the channels(Fix Channel Arts, Thumbnails, etc.)...And I'm actually thinking of recreating the main channel because I don't like the URL...O.O

So yeah... Still need to do a lot of things. I'm still waiting for my little sister's final schedule because she's gonna start going to school. Hehe.

Ang Huling Paraiso

is actually one of the most glorious stories
that I've been a part with during high school.
The idea for the story was thought
by Mrs. Marivi Castro, our English teacher,
and Ricky Bustos, a classmate and a close friend,
and I wrote the story that is now
in the form of a novel.
It was actually adapted into a stage play
directed by Mr. Salvador Peñas,
and is one of the biggest events
I've been a part of during high school.
It's a story mixed with self-conflict, family,
romance, war of cultures, fantasy and a whole lot more!
